Extraordinary concert in Blockley Church Gloucestershire

On Wednesday, 10th July a concert with a difference is to be held in the beautiful surroundings of Blockley village church.
A programme of music ranging from Baroque to Swing will be played by the Blechblaserensemble Wolfhagen (Wolfhagen Brass Ensemble) who will be visiting Blockley as part of their 2013 Summer Tour.

Cotswolds MP Organises Public Discussion on Post Office Closures

Geoffrey Clifton-Brown MP for the Cotswolds has arranged a series of public meetings for all affected residents to discuss the proposed round of Post Office closures in the Cotswolds.

The meetings will serve as an opportunity for people to hear more about and air their views on the effects of the closures, to learn more about the consultation process and to hear the options available to residents.

Blockley Ladies Choir strike the right note

Blockley ladies choir brought back some impressive silverware from the recent mid-Somerset music festival at Bath Guildhall, where they won two of the four classes they entered. Their success was especially pleasing as they are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and will be performing favourite pieces from their repertoire at a special anniversary concert in St.
