448 and counting - Cotswolds Marathon Man completes another race

Cotswolds based Steve Edwards ran his 448 marathon last Sunday - 17th February - in a time of 3 hours 12 minutes and 23 seconds and that is one more race and one more very good time towards his world record challenge of 500 marathons by 2012 in an average time of under 3 hours 20 minutes.

Grants given out by Cotswold District Council to help with future emergency planning

Cotswold District Council has handed out almost £30,000 this week to help towns and parishes to be better prepared for future emergencies.

Cotswolds MP Organises Public Discussion on Post Office Closures

Geoffrey Clifton-Brown MP for the Cotswolds has arranged a series of public meetings for all affected residents to discuss the proposed round of Post Office closures in the Cotswolds.

The meetings will serve as an opportunity for people to hear more about and air their views on the effects of the closures, to learn more about the consultation process and to hear the options available to residents.
