Chipping Norton Stars shine bright…….

On the evening of Wednesday 17th July at the Rollright Stones near
Chipping Norton , the Chipping Norton Amateur Astronomy Group (CNAAG)
were hosts to the team of BBC's The Sky At Night astronomy programme.
Presenter/Astronomer Pete Lawrence accompanied by impressionist and
astronomer Jon Colshaw shared a clear sky in near tropical temperatures

Ebrington Village Fete, Saturday 13th July, 2.00pm

Ebrington's traditional village fete and family dog show is held at Ebrington Cricket Ground on the outskirts of the village with wonderful views towards Broad Campden, Paxford and Blockley. Free parking will be available opposite the cricket ground. Entrance is £1 for adults and children over 12. Money raised goes to the church and the village organizations.

Gromit unleashed at Westonbirt Arboretum

The Forestry Commission's National Arboretum at Westonbirt is welcoming a new canine visitor this summer, as part of a ground-breaking public art trail raising funds for Bristol Children's Hospital.

For 10 weeks from 1 July, Westonbirt will take part in a Bristol-wide art trail when it becomes the residence of one of 80 Gromit Unleashed sculptures.
