Students and Staff Aim to Give 10,000 Hours

A new initiative with giving at its heart is going from strength to strength at the University of Gloucestershire.

The 10,000 Hours campaign is inviting everyone in the University community to log their hours of volunteering and community work and reach this year's target. So far more than 3,500 hours have been logged since the project launched at the end of January.

Staff and Student Win International Research Award

A postgraduate research student and his supervisors have received an international award for their research from the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (AAHPERD).

Steve Munson studied for an MSc by Research, and his research was recently published in the Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport Journal.

American Students Get a Taste of British Justice

A group of American students are arriving at the University of Gloucestershire for a taste of British justice.

The 18 students are all studying Criminal Justice at the University of Central Florida and arrive on February 28 to learn more about crime and policing with students studying Criminology at the University of Gloucestershire.

Cheltenham Chilli Company Turning up Heat on Campus

Students at the University of Gloucestershire are spicing up campus life with their new business venture, the Cheltenham Chilli Company.

Aiming to raise the profile of local produce to students and staff, the social enterprise will raise chilli pepper plants on site before selling them and chilli based products such as conserves and chutneys.
