Poppy Appeal -over £1000 raised by The University of Gloucestershire

Students from the University of Gloucestershire have stepped out to raise more than £1,000 for the Royal British Legion.
The 14 students from campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester volunteered to help with Poppy Appeal collections in Gloucester city centre and the new Gloucester Quays designer outlet at the city’s Docks on Saturday October 31 and Saturday November 7.

Residents and visitors to Gloucester will soon be able to access a database of every kind of physical activity available in the city. The comprehensive database, the first of its kind in the country will everything from high performance sports training down to a tea dance being hosted by a local social club.

John Vosper Collection is a sell-out - Results of the Simon Chorley Sale

When John Vosper attended sales in the last half of the 20th Century he did so in a market which had a glut of other buyers, sales were a social occasion.  Reserves were unheard of and lots always sold to keen collectors and buyers. His sale held at Prinknash on 11th December 2008 harked back to those days.
