Along the Edge with Gromit raises £7450!...

97 intrepid walkers took part in Chipping Sodbury Rotary Club's 17th annual ‘Along the Edge with Gromit' sponsored walk on Sunday 8th September. The Rotary Club teamed up with Aardman's popular character Gromit to raise money for worthwhile causes with 50% of the monies raised donated to ‘The Grand Appeal' providing much needed funds for Bristol Children's Hospital.

Chair of Gloucestershire LEP Receives Honorary Doctorate from University of Gloucestershire

Diane Savory, OBE, Chair of the Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership has received an Honorary Award from the University of Gloucestershire.
Diane was presented with her award by the University's Vice-Chancellor Stephen Marston at the third day of Graduation ceremonies at The Centaur, Cheltenham. She is now an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy.
