Boyzone forest shows announced for the summer

Boyzone have announced their Forest Live debut this summer. In a continuation of the celebration of their ‘BZ20' anniversary, Ronan, Keith, Shane & Mikey will be performing in four spectacular woodland locations as part of the Forestry Commission's annual concert series. See them locally at Westonbirt Arboretum on Friday 18th July.

This year Lakefest is launching a brand new and exciting competition for unsigned or upcoming bands. Taking the form of an "Online Battle of the Bands", the competition will see favourite local artists take to YouTube to compete for a spot on stage at Lakefest 2014.

Bristol launch celebrates Fred Wedlock's rich legacy

The first biography of favourite Bristol folk singer Fred Wedlock will be launched at the city's M Shed with a celebration featuring performances from musicians including Fred's daughter Hannah.
The celebration on Saturday November 23 at 2pm will also feature archive footage of Fred in action put together using material held at Bristol Record Office.

International star joins Orchestra of the Swan's new season

Brittish cellist, Raphael Wallfisch is the latest international soloist to team up with Stratford-upon-Avon-based Orchestra of the Swan. 
He joins the orchestra as their Associate Artist for the 2013-14 season which will see him perform three of his favourite works for cello and orchestra in the newly rejuvenated Civic Hall.

Nearly two thousand people thronged the streets of Shipston-on-Stour for the Last Night of the Proms on Saturday 6 July

Ebrington Village Fete, Saturday 13th July, 2.00pm

Ebrington's traditional village fete and family dog show is held at Ebrington Cricket Ground on the outskirts of the village with wonderful views towards Broad Campden, Paxford and Blockley. Free parking will be available opposite the cricket ground. Entrance is £1 for adults and children over 12. Money raised goes to the church and the village organizations.
