International star joins Orchestra of the Swan's new season

Brittish cellist, Raphael Wallfisch is the latest international soloist to team up with Stratford-upon-Avon-based Orchestra of the Swan. 
He joins the orchestra as their Associate Artist for the 2013-14 season which will see him perform three of his favourite works for cello and orchestra in the newly rejuvenated Civic Hall.

Heritage Diesel Horsepower at GWR's Spectacular

The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway will be celebrating all things diesel with its first Heritage Diesel Weekend, Friday to Sunday, 26th to 28 July and two freshly-overhauled locomotives are expected to be making their debut appearances in preservation following long and complex overhauls at Toddington.

There are plenty of buses to catch at the GWSR Bus Rally on Sunday 14th July. Sunday will see the car park at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railways Toddington station crammed with buses. That's because the railway, which is enjoying a highly successful 2013, will be running its popular Bus Rally.
