Poppy Appeal -over £1000 raised by The University of Gloucestershire

Students from the University of Gloucestershire have stepped out to raise more than £1,000 for the Royal British Legion.
The 14 students from campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester volunteered to help with Poppy Appeal collections in Gloucester city centre and the new Gloucester Quays designer outlet at the city’s Docks on Saturday October 31 and Saturday November 7.
Elizabeth Annett, who helped to co-ordinate the fundraising, is Trainee Chaplain at the University of Gloucestershire. She said: “The total amount raised was £1,309. We’re very grateful to the students who gave up their time to help to raise money for this cause, it’s greatly appreciated.”
