Ebrington is a lovely village situated at the northerly end of the Gloucestershire Cotswolds, 10 miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon and 2 miles east of Chipping Campden. The village fete is very popular in Ebrington and the surrounding villages.

By popular demand again this year, Chipping Campden Swing Band will accompany the fete and there will be a display of classic and vintage cars, motor cycles and tractors.  New this year will be dance routines performed by children from the Campden Academy of Dance.

The fete is held at Ebrington’s cricket ground, which is in a beautiful position on the outskirts of the village with spectacular views towards Chipping Campden and Broad Campden.  Free parking will be made available opposite the cricket ground (no parking on the road).

All the familiar stalls will be present, including:  Cakes, WI Jams and Preserves, Produce, Books, Plants and White Elephant with China and Glass as well as Flower and Gift stalls.

The entrance fee of £1 for adults, will include a ticket for a lucky draw. There will be a Grand Raffle, the bottle stall, the traditional “Wheel of Fortune”, and games such as “Crown Darts”.

For the children there will be the ever popular “Obstacle course”, games, sports, a Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Lucky Dip and a Hay Ride.  Also, once again, a display of insects and creatures entitled “Life in the Rainforest”.  Our local theatre group “Caramba” will perform play readings.

One of the main attractions is always the “Family Dog Show” in which families can enter their dogs in the various categories.  This is both entertaining to enter and to watch.  Bring along your dog for this event. Agility Trials will be held alongside the dog show.

The very popular teas will be available from the cricket pavilion and ice creams and soft drinks will be available on the field.

This year "The Ebrington Arms”, our local village pub, will be running a beer festival at the fete, with 10 real ales from breweries including Stroud, Wye Valley, Uley and Hook Norton.  There will also be a garden party with music and a barbeque at The Ebrington Arms from 7.00pm. All are welcome.
